Mr. Raymond Sells Iii's Obituary
Raymond Sells, III of Mobile, AL laid down his working tools on April 18, 2022, at the age of 69. He was born in Opelika, AL on February 8, 1953, to Mary Frances & Raymond Sells, II. He was a Davidson High School graduate and an active alumni member.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter, Alicia Escobar; grandsons Isaiah (Madison) Escobar, Zachary Escobar, and Elijah Escobar; sisters Karen (Bill) Seasly and Kathleen Seibert; and brothers Edward (Vicki) Sells, and David (Mary Jane) Sells.
He was most proud of his service in the Army, and of his Masonic brotherhood. He was a long-time member of the Grand Lodge of Texas –where he was initiated in November 1987 and raised to Master Mason in August 1989. He regularly attended a local lodge in Mobile, AL as well.
Interment services, with military honors, will be held at 2:45pm on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
