Richard Alvin McCaskill, 71 of Pascagoula, MS, went to his heavenly home on May 27, 2024. He was from South Carolina, for which he was very proud of. He was born to the late Edwin and Besty Ruth McCaskill, on September 14, 1952.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Joann McCaskill; sister, Barbara (Clifton) Topp, brother and sister in-laws, Preston LeRoy Ables, Judy Lynn (Robert Levoy Jr.) Sigrest, and Patricia Ann (Steven) Smalley.

Richard was a Dental Technician by trade but was a much deeper man. His artistry was beyond compare, whether it was sketches, acrylic, or even water colors, his work stunned all who saw it. The simple art of nature relaxed him beyond compare and gave him a gentle peace. He could see the vines beyond the trees and could place colors in such an abstract way, he always saw the unexpected beauty in creation.
