Robert Charles Gibson, who was endearingly called "Pops" by those who knew him best, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. He was born on July 12, 1959 to Harold and Peggy Gibson. Robert is survived by six siblings, one son, Roger (Samantha) Gibson, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. "Pops" loved his family and served his community well, from his volunteer services, to the many meals that he prepared and served. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11 AM, in the chapel of Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS, with Pastor Gregory Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens next to the funeral home.
