Obituary

Robert Isaac 'Pat' Patrick passed from this earth on the morning of February 25th, 2015. He was born on January 1, 1932 to Vicie Brown and Robert Cleveland Patrick in Richlands, Virginia. He attended Richlands High School. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Irvin and Marvin; and two sisters, Rosa White and Lucille Estep. He was also preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russ Gunter; brothers-in-law Edsel Gunter, Merwyn Gunter and Earl Gunter, and sister-in-law Mildred Gunter. Pat is survived by his wife and soulmate of 56 years, Shirley Gunter Patrick. He is also survived by his son, Robert Kent (Deborah) Patrick, grandchildren Stephanie Leigh Patrick and Robert Phillip Patrick, and in-laws Byrun (Betty) Gunter, Bill (Nancy) Gunter, Lavada Gunter and Hilda Gunter. Pat was a long time resident of the Kreole community of Jackson County, Mississippi. He was the owner of Kreole Auto Parts and founded the Heritage House Restaurant in Kreole. He enjoyed 15 years of retirement in Grand Bay, Alabama. He was loved and admired by all of those who knew him, and will be sorely missed. The visitation will be held at New Horizons Church in Escatawpa, Mississippi on Friday, February 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services, performed by Rev. Donald Edeker and Rev. Russell Gunter, will also be at New Horizons on Saturday, February 28th at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Keith Gunter, Todd Gunter, Charlie Scelsi, John Somers, Mitchell Poole and Anthony Cole. Entombment will follow at Grand Bay Cemetery in Grand Bay, Alabama. Holder- Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
