Robert "Robby" M. Tanner
May 22,1972-May 15,2021
Robby has made his last ride to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved his horses and dogs. Robby became a jockey at a young age, later becoming a horse trainer in Lafayette, Louisiana where he trained for several years. Robby loved living on the river, horse racing, hunting, and fishing.
Robby is preceded in death by his dad Robert D. Tanner and is survived by his mother Gwen Tanner Horn and her husband Wilson Horn of Moss Point, Mississippi; daughters Libby Rhae Tanner (mother- Amanda "Mandi" Quebedeaux) of Lafayette, Louisiana; Taylor Tanner Bramble (Austin) of Chesapeake City, Maryland; many aunts, uncles, cousins and childhood friends where he grew up in the Franklin Creek community. He is also survived by his dog Dollye.
A memorial service will be held for Robby at New Vision Church 11507 Patrick Henry Street in Moss Point, Mississippi on Thursday, May 27, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or Willow Farm Horse Rescue Center in Baldwin County, Alabama.
