Robin S. Dixon, 55 of Moss Point, MS, unexpectedly left this world to be with the Lord on September 3rd, 2022. He was born October 30th, 1966, in Pascagoula, MS. He earned his high school diploma from Our Lady of Victories in 1985. Robin was a talented and well-respected commercial menhaden pilot and fisherman for 30 years. Robin was humble, intelligent, and curious. He was a self-directed learner, who spent a lot of his time absorbing facts about anything from wildlife and music to history and world records. He enjoyed watching documentaries, scouring encyclopedias, reading the Guinness Book of World Records, and especially listening to music. He also enjoyed spending time with his parents and brother Bill, bird watching while sitting on their back porch. He loved his family and treasured time spent playing with his grandchildren. He was saved by the Lord and studied the bible until his last day. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Dixon, sister-in-law Donna Dixon, and Cousin Nathan Rowe. He is survived by his beloved parents, Frank and Thelma Dixon Sr. of Moss Point. Children Talyn "Brittinee" Dunn (Shea) of Ocean Springs, Drew Dixon (Amanda) of Ocean Springs, and Tristan Dixon of Pascagoula. Friend and former wife Denise Dixon along with children Christopher, Amber, and Amanda Wall. Brothers Frank Dixon Jr. (Mary) of Moss Point, William "Bill" Dixon of Moss Point, Richard Dixon of Wiggins, and Leonard Dixon (Ann) of Moss Point. Grandchildren Quinn and Annelise Dunn, Chandler Dixon, Maya Escobar, and Sienna Pringle. He loved each and every one of his numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special acknowledgment to his longtime friend, Kenny Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00AM at Ridglea Heights Baptist Church 12601 Highway 613 Moss Point, MS 39562. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to service.
