Roger Patterson Davis Sr., aged 58, of Gautier, Mississippi, passed away peacefully from his earthly home on December 26, 2024. He was a beloved figure, well-known for his warm personality and kindness.

Roger was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Mrs. Bice Davis, who he cherished deeply. His parents, Robert and Ann Davis, along with his sister Robbie Davis, also held a special place in his heart and together they left behind a legacy of love and togetherness.

He is remembered lovingly by his children, Robert (Ashley) Davis and Roger Davis Jr. They, along with his granddaughter, Emma Davis, were the light of his life. Roger took immense joy in being a grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with Emma. He also leaves behind nephews Curtis and Matthew Harrison, who admired and respected their uncle dearly, along with many other close family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

In his free time, Roger found solace in gardening, where he cultivated not only plants but also a sense of peace and tranquility. His love for animals was evident in the time he spent with his beloved dogs, who brought him unconditional love and joy. Playing with his granddaughter was perhaps his favorite pastime, as it filled his days with laughter and love.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2024, at the Holder-Wells Funeral Home, located at 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS. This event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., allowing all who knew him to come together and celebrate a life filled with cherished moments and memories. Everyone is welcome to join as they pay their respects and honor Roger's legacy.
