He spent even more years around sports later in life, coaching his daughters in softball. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After his military service, he channeled his passion for cooking and hospitality into operating Pizza Hut for almost 20 years. He created a warm and inviting atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy delicious meals together. If you were from the community, you knew Mr. Ron at Pizza Hut. He went on to run Quincey's for many years and if you went there, you knew Ron. An avid member of the church, Ron also served as Deacon at Community of Christ, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
