After a long and courageous fight with several chronic illnesses, Mr. Ronald J. Krotoszynski, Sr., 77, of Moss Point, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born on April 5, 1944, in Erie, PA. Ron was an alumnus of Gannon University and earned an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was an aviator, flight instructor, and lieutenant in the US Navy, and an engineer at Ingalls Shipbuilding of 40 years. Ron cherished his time with his family, whose interests he always put first, and was a devoted husband of 46 years and a much loved father, grandfather, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Jamison Krotoszynski, and parents, Stanley and Stella Krotoszynski. He is survived by his loving sons, Ronald Krotoszynski, Jr., of Stanton, VA; David Russell and wife, Roxanne Krotoszynski, of Raleigh, NC; sister, Susan Freed, of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Dana and Arya Krotoszynski, of Raleigh, NC.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Victories Church, Pascagoula, MS on April 13, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm. A fellowship will immediately follow in the parish hall for all friends.
