Roy Anthony Glenn, 73, passed away in his home of 52 years in Pascagoula, Mississippi on the morning of December 15, 2020. He was born on March 4, 1947, in Lakeland, FL to Marjorie and Roy Glenn.
Roy was owner and operator of Glenn's Auto Repair in Pascagoula, MS for many years. A big part of his life was devoted to special hobbies and activities that included building a race car, which he loved to race at Irvington Race Track. Second to racing was his love of the water which led to him becoming an avid scuba diver and instructor.
Roy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who enjoyed the untold number of family activities and gatherings. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 54 years, Sharon Crane Glenn. Together they enjoyed the love and joy of their children, Roy Anthony (Tony) Glenn, deceased, Dianne Glenn Johnson (Durell), Matthew Christopher "Matt" Glenn (Kara Howard), five grandchildren, Samantha Glenn Stilian (Jim), Ryan Glenn (Ashley), Michelle Johnson (Matt Conte), Cody Johnson, and Maddie Kate Glenn, and six great grandchildren. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Roy Glenn, also of Pascagoula.
Visitation will be Friday December18,2020 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Deacon Frank Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic face mask and social distancing will be required in the funeral home and cemetery.
