Mr. Rueben Edward "Buster" Tillman's Obituary
Rueben Edward "Buster" Tillman, 73, of Lucedale, MS, passed on December 22, 2023 at Singing River Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1950, to the late Julius Edward Tillman and Pearl Laverne Clifton in Pascagoula, MS.
Rueben was a decorated SGT in the United States Army, having received many metals and accommodations including, Bronze Star for Merit and achievements against Hostile Forces, a Purple Heart for being wounded in connection with military operations against hostile forces, and many other notable achievements. He received a Medical Honorable Discharge from the Army after his time in the war and was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Julius Edward Tillman, and Pearl "Laverne" (Tillman) Braddock, brother Albert "Denny" Tillman, and sister, Ruby Tillman.
Buster is survived by his brothers Glen Edward "Eddie" Tillman and wife Jean Tillman, and William Edward "Billy" Tillman and wife Brenda Tillman. He also leaves behind many other loved ones including his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and many friends.
A Memorial Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
