Sarah Hagan, 82, passed away on October 2, 2022. She was born in Hickory, Mississippi, to Gordon A. and Trudie Capps. She married her love, Charles M. Hagan, Sr., on September 1, 1961, who preceded her in death in 2015.
Sarah worked for Pascagoula Moss Point/Hancock Bank, retiring after 37 years. After retirement, she went on to work part-time for the bank for 10 more years. She was a faithful Christian, attending the Church of Christ at Scovel Road in Pascagoula. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles, playing dominos with her sisters, doing Diamond Art painting, and keeping all the neighborhood critters fed.
Other than her husband, Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, brother, James A. Capps, and sisters, Launa Stephens and Onie "Nell" Sirmon Parker.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra (David) Law, Sondra (Eric) Bliesener, Stacy (Jeff) Catlett, and Charles (Julia) Hagan, Jr.
Grandchildren, Adam (Shana) Law, Sara (Evan) Nyers, Joshua (Aleasha) Law, Rachael (Michael) McNeill, Joshua Bliesener, Newt Brown, Hagan Brown, Lexy Lynn, Bryant Catlett, Jessica Catlett, Jerrin Catlett, Dr. Jacob (Dr. Sara Nichols)
Cooley, Dr. Amanda Cooley, Joseph (Kady) Cooley, and Emily Cooley. Great-grandchildren, Devyn Rouse, Avery Rouse, Jace Law, Charleigh Law, Ramsey Nyers, Morrigan McNeill, Ryker Cooley, and Elijah Cooley. Her sisters, Norma Sue Overby, Mary Dale Goff, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Her fur babies, Queen, and Sam will miss her terribly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS 39563.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Holder-Wells funeral home chapel with Bro. Ken Sils officiating. Pallbearers will be Evan Nyers, Adam Law, Joshua Bliesener, Joseph Cooley, Newt Brown, Hagan Brown, Joshua Law, and Bryant Catlett.
Entombment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
