Scott Edward Stradtner, age 54, of Lucedale, Mississippi, departed this life on February 14, 2025, surrounded by the comfort of his home and the memories he created with his loved ones.
Born on September 10, 1970, in Indiana, Scott was the proud son of Charles and Mary Elizabeth Whitehead Stradtner, who both predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dixie Lee Stradtner, and their beloved children: Robin Bennett, Jennifer Havard, Sandy Bourn, and Mandy Smith. Scott also leaves behind 11 cherished grandchildren, along with a wide circle of family and friends whose lives he touched profoundly.
Scott's life was marked by achievements and a commitment to excellence. He earned an associate degree and dedicated himself to serving his community as a member of the Board of Supervisors for the Mississippi Song Writers Alliance. His passion for sports shone through in his roles as a high school football referee and a high school softball umpire, where he inspired young athletes and fostered sportsmanship. As the owner of "Y'all Come Back RV Park," Scott welcomed visitors with open arms, showcasing his warmth and hospitality. Additionally, he expressed his artistic spirit through music as a talented bass guitar player.
In honoring Scott's wishes, cremation will be conducted at Holder Wells - Coastal Cremations in Moss Point.
