Sharon Ann Tanner Jones, age 69, of Moss Point, passed away Thursday April 28, 2022. Sharon was born December 27, 1952, in Lucedale, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Moss Point High School. Sharon retired from the Moss Point School District after spending 27 years feeding the school children in the area. She was well known for her delicious food and was loved by many. Sharon loved many things in life, but her greatest loves were her grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Ona Lee Tanner, siblings Caylor Tanner, Myrtle Stringer, Earl Tanner, Doris Griffin, Hennon Hollinghead and Tommie Tanner and her father-in-law Wilton "Tunker" Jones.

Sharon is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert "Bob" Jones, her children, Jennifer Krebs, Jason (Janna) Jones, her grandchildren, Connor Shaw, Jase Jones and Tanner Krebs, her siblings Kenny (Earlene) Hollinghead and Myra Thomas, her mother-in-law Louise Jones and sister-in-laws, Lois Tanner, Annie Tanner, Linda Snipes and Mary Anne Hudson.

Pallbearers are Butch Griffin, Chris Snipes, Joey Griffin, Bill Tanner, James Baker and Shane Stork

The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Mississippi Center for Autism, 4061 Suzanne Dr. Suites C & D, D'Iberville, MS 3954 or any autism charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2022, from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Holder Wells Funeral Home Chapel, 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will follow in the chapel beginning at 12:00PM with Reverend Wendell Stork officiating. Interment will be in Orange Grove Cemetery.
