Shirlene "Red" White, 82, of Pascagoula passed to her heavenly home peacefully on November 5th, 2023, surrounded by her family. Shirlene worked at Olan Mills and Sears for many years and enjoyed watching and coaching her kids in sports as they were growing up, was a precious mother & grandmother & great grandmother, she enjoyed sewing, playing bingo with her friends, loved attending Life Church in Hurley and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Shirlene will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Shirlene was predeceased by her precious mother, Robbie Shropshire Patty, and father, Perry Patty.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Jimmy) Hammond, Dean Albert, and Kelly (Robert) Green. Her grandkids, Chassidy Hammond, Kristy (Rusty) Rawls, Courtney Seaman, and Matthew Green. Her great-grandkids, Emma Catherine Hammond, Millie Cait Hammond, Remi Blake Rawls, Ellie Faith Green, Madison Coy, Taylor Coy, Kristen Coy, and her cousin who was like a sister, Geraldine Goble. Also, her beloved fur babies Suzy and Sarah.
A graveside celebration of life will be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Shirlene's friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating her life with a Graveside Service at Machpelah Cemetery on Friday, November 10th at 2:00. In Lieu of flowers the family asks to make donations in her name to the Jackson County Animal Shelter or Life Church – Hurley building fund.
