Shirley Faye Goff Stewart

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Shirley Faye Goff Stewart, who passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on May 4, 1946, in Pascagoula, MS, Shirley lived a life full of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She was full of laughter with a zest for life and always welcoming with a warm hug. She loved to share the gospel and always encouraged others to know her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her children: Rusty (Traci) Stewart, Selina (Tony) Martinez, Chris (Wendy) Stewart; Grandchildren: Maighan (Josh) McCoy, Matt (Dawn) Poole, Tyler (Kennedy) Martinez, Hayley (Jeffrey) Bradford, Blake Stewart, Jay Hamrick, Allison Stewart, Hallie Hamrick; Great Grandchildren: Bradley Griffin, Brian McCoy, Pippa Poole, Rowdy Martinez, Addison Bradford, Emma Poole who will forever carry her memory in their heart. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Coody (Audrey) Goff and her sister Linda Goff Foster. She was beloved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She graduated from Moss Point High School in 1964. She worked many years for the Singing River Hospital system. The family would like to extend special appreciation to Crowne Healthcare located in Citronelle, AL for their love and care of our mother/grandmother in her final days.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday August 28, 2025, at Holder Wells/Coastal Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories of a truly remarkable woman. Pallbearers will be Matt Poole, Jeffrey Bradford, Tony Martinez, Blake Stewart, Jay Hamrick, Bobby Foster, and honorary pallbearer Tyler Martinez. Though she may be gone from our sight, her love will forever remain the sunshine in our lives.
