Susan Mae Jones, age 72, of Moss Point, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, in Hattiesburg. She was born on April 26, 1948 in Lucedale to Jack and Edna Wellford Davis. Susan is survived by her husband James Leo Jones of Moss Point; daughter, Deborah Harris of LaPlace, Louisiana; 2 granddaughters, Alisa Henson and husband Austin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Angie Boyne of Moss Point; brother, Jack Davis, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Abbey, and Maci. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jerome Davis; and sisters, Pat Price, Jane Havard, Jeanette King, Barbara Jean, and Edna Mae. The family will receive friends at Holder Wells Funeral Home on Sunday, February 7, from 1-4 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, at 10 AM in the chapel of Holder Wells Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.
