Obituary

Mr. Theodore Lamar Dickerson, age 70, of Moss Point. Passed away April 4, 2009 in Mobile, AL. He was born July 9th, 1938 in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Lee Denford Dickerson and Bessie Ashcroft Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson retired from Ingalls after 34 years. He is a member and served as business agent of Sheet Metal workers local union #441 out of Mobile, AL. Mr. Dickerson is also a member of Wade Baptist Church. Mr. Dickerson is preceded in death by his parents and Wife, Deanie Brownlow Dickerson.
Mr. Dickerson is survived by two sons: Steven Lamar (Cindy) Dickerson, Lee Denford (Patricia); Two Daughters: Sharon Lynn (J. M.) Slayter, and LaDeanna Dickerson all of Wade, MS. One Brother R. W. â??Peteâ?쳌 Dickerson, Two Sisters: Xemina Joiner, and Linda (Bobby) Culpepper. Seven Grandchildren: Jake Dickerson, Justin Dickerson, Amber Beaver, Josh Slayter, Lauren Snelgrove, Lindsey Dickerson, and Daniel Dickerson. Three Great- Grandchildren: William Beaver, Sean Beaver, Hannah Marie Dickerson. Host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dickerson, Jacky Joiner, Logan Smith, Caleb Dickerson, Tommy Smith, Al Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ross Talbert- Dickerson, Jimmy Edmonds, and Park Rogers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 from 6pm- 9pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home. Service will be 1pm Thursday, April 9th, 2009 at Wade Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior to service. Interment to follow service at Serene Memorial Gardens.
