Thomas "Tommy" Barton Faucett II

Thomas "Tommy" Barton Faucett II passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, at the age of 75. Born on January 25, 1950, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Tommy lived a life defined by service, hard work, and a deep dedication to his family and loved ones.
Tommy honorably served in the United States Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. His training and discipline provided a strong foundation for the rest of his life.
He spent most of his adult life in Shelburne, Vermont, where he built a successful career as the owner and operator of Barton Builders. He took great pride in transforming spaces and found true joy in making things beautiful. Outside of his work, Tommy loved golfing, and one of his proudest moments came when he scored a hole-in-one on the 191-yard 8th hole at Rocky Ridge Golf Club in St. George, VT. He always enjoyed time spent on the course. Eleven years ago, he returned to Mississippi to be closer to family.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Faucett; his parents, Katherine Jean Faucett and Thomas Barton Faucett; and his brother, Todd Faucett.
He is survived by his brothers, Leroy (Jeannie) Faucett and Mark (Kathy) Faucett; his sister, Sharon Crews; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
