Thomas "Gene" Parker of Escatawpa, Mississippi passed from this life at the age of 73. He was born August 17, 1949, to Weber and Betty Parker. He grew up in Moss Point and proudly graduated from Moss Point High School in 1967. Gene enjoyed having a good meal, being a devoted caretaker to his mother in her later years, and spending time with his former cat, Charlie.
However, what Gene enjoyed most in the world was talking to people. He loved to reminisce so conversations would often go on for hours. Gene could talk to you about anything and everything!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Weber and Betty Parker, Sr., brother-in-law, Paul Hembree, and sister-in-law, Honna Parker.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Hembree, his brother (Weber (Lori) Parker, Jr., his brother, Paul Parker, Sr., and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, located at Serene Memorial Gardens 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, MS, 39562, Michael Parker will lead the service and P J Parker will perform a vocal selection.
