Tillie Ouida (Salisbury) Sullivan. died April 15,2026 at the age of 90 in Gautier Mississippi at River Chase Village Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 1, 1935, in Gautier, daughter of Mamie and Hurdis Salisbury.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Sullivan Jr., and two brothers, Odell and Herman Salisbury. Tillie leaves a
daughter, Kaye Sullivan Weaver, (Tim), a son, Ray Lamont Sullivan, (Kay), a
granddaughter, Kayla Butler, (Kenny), three great grandchildren, Kensley, Kaleb,
and Kennedy Rose Butler, two sisters, Della Ruth Young of Lucedale, Mississippi and Agnes Nilsen of Missoula, Montana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Gautier First Baptist Church when it was a Brush Arbor by the River, joining when she was a young girl, and being baptized in West River.
Tillie was an "Old Soul", even as a young girl. She was a great cook, known for her
lemon pies, and cakes, cooking meals on a woodstove. Tillie and her Mother
cooked many Sunday dinners for Keesler Field Airman who used to come to
Gautier Baptist Church, and sewed many a dress from feed and flour sacks for her
sisters, using an old treadle sewing machine.

Tillie attended Gautier Elementary School, completing eight years in six, and was Valedictorian of her 8th Grade Class.

Graveside services for Tillie will be held Saturday April 18, 20206 at 10:00 AM, at
Serene Memorial Cemetery, 128000 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS with Chaplin Barak of River Chase Village officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send River Chase Village
the flowers, or made a donation of supplies so everyone there can enjoy them
