Tresa Ann Goyer,66 of Gautier, MS passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Grand Bay, AL on July 5, 2020. She was a longtime waitress at Waffle House and the life of any party. She attended Light of Yahshua Ministries Church in Grand Bay. Tresa was a breast cancer survivor who was heavily involved in advocating for breast cancer awareness and research. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gentry and Flora Nixon Gentry, and her granddaughter Brittney Heflin. She is survived by her four children, Charles Thompson (Kim), Linda Heflin (Joey), Flora Gallegos (Scott), and Nathaniel Clark (Elisa) along with her siblings, Wilma McNabb (Jimmy), Mary Dixon (Chunks) and Charles Buddy Gentry. Tresa had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that were the joy of her life. Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Holder – Wells Funeral home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563 with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm from the funeral home chapel and burial following at The Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Light of Yahshua Ministries, Breast cancer research, or any charity of your choosing in Tresa's honor. Due to the Covod-19 pandemic a limited amount of people will be allowed inside the funeral home and at the graveside with face masks being required and social distancing being observed.
