It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Una Fletcher Colville, age 84, of Moss Point, Mississippi, who departed this life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her beloved home.


Born on December 25, 1940, Una was a cherished daughter of Arie and Hugh
Fletcher. She found true companionship when she married George Colville on October 6, 1962, in Pascagoula. Raised in the Methodist faith, Una's warm spirit was evident in her many passions-cooking, crocheting, sewing, and hosting family gatherings that brought joy to all who knew her. Her involvement in church events reflected her deep commitment to her faith and community.


Una is welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved husband George, her brother Hugh Fletcher, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Fletcher, her parents Arie and Hugh Fletcher, and many cherished family members who have gone before her.


She leaves behind a loving family, including three devoted daughters: Leslie (Brian) Spencer, Ashley (Beau Parker) Gaffney, and Amber (Lewis) Colville Sims, all from Moss Point and Pascagoula. Una was also blessed with a sister-in-law, Margie Colville, five granddaughters-Brittany (Arron) Crowe, Lauren Martin, Emily Gaffney, Mckinley Sims, and Mallory Sims-two grandsons, Joshua Gaffney and Austin Sims, as well as four great-granddaughters, Daleigh Bourn
, Harper Crowe, Scout Crowe, and Caroline Smith, and a great-grandson, Dax Crowe. Her heart was also filled with the love of many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.


Friends and family are invited to honor Una's memory during the visitation at Holder Wells Main Street Chapel, located at 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM. A service celebrating her life will take place there on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10 AM, led by Bro. John Tucker and Pastor Melissa Burgess , with a graveside service to follow at Red Hill Cemetery in Vancleave, MS.


Her legacy will be honored by pallbearers including Wyatt Henderson, Brent Thames, Blake Thames, Arron Crowe, Dax Crowe, Austin Sims, and Joshua Gaffney. Additionally, her family wishes to acknowledge honorary pallbearers: Lewis Sims, Brian Spencer, Beau Parker, Tommy Thames, Les Hull, Ritchie Huff, Bill Robertson, Bubba Green, Bootsie Green, Sparky Butler, and Mike Shumock.


As we remember Una's vibrant spirit, her family invites all attending the funeral services to wear something red, a reflection of her favorite color and a tribute to her loving nature.
