Verona Armstrong Redding, 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., (formerly of Pascagoula, MS.), passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in Ocean Springs.
She was born on September 9, 1937, in Jones, LA., to the late George and Irene Armstrong. She was the youngest of 15 children. Verona loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Verona was preceded in death by 14 siblings; Her husband, Robert L. Redding, Sr., sons, Robert L. Redding, Jr., and Roy Glenn Redding.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Janet Redding; son, Roger L. Redding; and daughter-in-law, Carol Redding; grandchildren, Jamie Redding, Elizabeth (Billy) Postell, Christina Holmes, and Jeffery (Ashleigh) Redding; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Redding, Camron Redding, Lorelei Burke, Jaxon Postell, Emma Postell, Jayson Redding, Heath Redding, and Stella Redding.
Graveside service will be held at a later date, with burial at Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA.
