Wesley Howard Stork, 94, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Wes was born on December 12, 1926, in Pecan, Mississippi to the late Henry W. and Hattie Belle Stork. Wes was a lifelong member of Midway United Methodist Church in Moss Point, MS. He retired after 40 years from Clark's Seafood in Pascagoula, MS.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gussie Stork, Hugh Stork, Henry Stork, and Cecil Stork, and sisters, Edna Brown, Margie Saska Adams, Hannah McConaghy, Eunice Bowden, Virginia Carroll, and Irene Sessions.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Genie M. Waller Stork of Moss Point, Ms., Children, Wesley "Ike" (Jammie Reece) Stork, Sandra stork (Pat) Bryant. Grandchildren, Heather (Will) Glass, Kip P. Bryant, Scott (Erica) Stork, Reid (Taylor) Stork, Blake (Taylor) Stork. Great-grandchildren, Savannah Glass, Addison Glass, Conner Stork, Trevor Stork, Trent Stork, Tucker Stork, Beau Stork, Jensen Stork and, Liam Stork, along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Tom East and Rev. Bryan Pullen officiating. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery in Moss Point, MS. Pallbearers will be, Kip Bryant, Scott Stork, Reid Stork, Blake Stork, Conner Stork, and Terry Stork. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 9814 Old Stage Rd., Moss Point, MS, 39562.
Due to the Covid pandemic, face masks and social distancing will be required in the funeral home and at the cemetery.
