Wilbur "Gene" Langley born November 13, 1931 in Laurel, Mississippi was called to his heavenly home on May 11, 2020. Gene was 88 years old at the time of his death. He was born to Oscar Vann and Audrey Tulley Langley. Gene had one sibling, June Byrd. He joined the Army in 1954 and served in Korea and Vietnam; he also served as Military Police. Gene married Wynona Baria in 1955 and together they had 3 children Ronald, Michelle, and Barry. He enjoyed playing the guitar, Royal Rangers, eating home cooking, driving his 18-wheeler, and watching Jimmy Swaggart. Gene was also an avid Trump supporter. He loved his country and his family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Oscar and Audrey Langley and his sister June. He is survived by his wife, Wynona Langley. His oldest son Ronald (Susan) Langley, his daughter Michelle (George) Hyatt, and his youngest son Barry (Cherie) Langley. He had 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the family held a private graveside service at Coleman Cemetery in Hurley, Mississippi.
