William L. Allen Jr., 90, of Moss Point, MS, passed away April 22,2015, in Pascagoula, MS. Mr. Allen was born on September 5, 1924, in Moss Point, and was a lifelong resident. He was the owner/manager of Credit Bureau of Jackson County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moss Point SBC and a former member of the Lions Club. He served with the Merchant Marines during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his wife, Else Larsen Allen, his sons, Herman Lee Allen and Randall Joseph Allen, his parents William L. Allen Sr. and Nellie Jones Allen, his sisters Melvina Nelson and Bennie Warner, and his brothers Jay Allen and Harvey Allen. He is survived by his son, Barry (Judy) Allen, of Moss Point, his grandchildren, Alyssa and Brian, and his great grandchild, Ethan Lowery. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Lewis Allen, and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula.
