Mr. William Kenneth Dyess, 79, of Escatawpa, MS, passed away November 2, 2020. Ken was born in Bassfield, MS, on December 20, 1940 to William A. and Mattie Dyess.

He was a deacon at Griffin Street Baptist Church and recently at Helena First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Dyess; his mother, Mattie Jenkins Dyess; his sister, Mary Sue Dyess; his brother, Clifford Dyess; his brother Cecil Dyess; his brother John Dyess; his brother Don Dyess; and his brother, Estes Arnold Dyess.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Lundy Dyess; his daughter Leslie A. Powell; his son Devin K. Dyess; his 6 grandkids, Chris Powell Jr; Rebecca Dyess; Alex Powell; Kimberly Dyess; Hannah Dyess; Tyler Powell. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Funeral Service will begin at 12:00PM with an hour visitation prior to service, at Helena First Baptist Church, 6308 Wildwood Road, Moss Point, MS, 39562, with Rev. Bill Palmer officiating.
