William Allen Jones was born January 15, 1936 in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his wife: Annie Ruth Christa Jones, sons: Harry Keith Jones, Michael Dewayne Jones, and John Towry Jones, daughters: Karen Jones Ferrill and Judy Jones, his father: Towry David Jones, his mother: Nellie Betty Moore Jones, sisters: Virginia Carpenter, Marie Hopkins, and Alberta Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his son, William Allen Jones, Jr., daughter: Peggy Jones (Phillip) Stork and Sherry Jones; grandchildren: Daniel (Darlene) Stork, Amanda (Matt) Weber, Haley (Keagan) Stork Darney, Robert (Amber) Jones, Keith Jones, and David Jones; several great grandchildren. A host of other relatives, friends, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones served in the Army in the 50's. He retired from Ingalls shipbuilding in 1998.
He loved gardening. He has always had a green thumb and flowers were one of the best things he grew. Wood working was also a passion of his. He loved spending time with his family, going to church, and reading the Bible.
