Wyatt Franklin Dunn of Vancleave , MS passed away March 22,2024 with his family by his side . Wyatt was born on May 31,1938 to Jeptha and Nora Dunn . He is preceded in death by his parents. His wife Dollie Mae Dunn . Siblings- Herbert Dunn , Roy Dunn , Tommy Dunn , Martha Lou "Dunn" Boutwell and Mary Davis . Children – Cheryl Dianne Dunn and step son James McMillan
He is survived by his step children Carol Couts and Reba Martinez . Grandchildren Megan (Robert) Bush , Wyatt Slatton , Wes (Kim) McMillan, Samantha McCrerey ,Sheray Lucas ,Jason Lucas , Roy Lucas ,Calveta Martinez , Ricky and David Mock along with Numerous great grandchildren. Also, Surviving Sisters: Josephine Hunter and Margaret (Tommy) Moore, Sister in Laws – Debbie Dunn , Linda Noble Cumbest and Rosemary Noble.
Wyatt and Dollie Dunn moved to Houston , TX in the early 1960's for him to pursue a career with Brown & Root . After over 40 years he retired to his home in Vancleave, MS.
Everyone who knew him knew that he was a proud hard working man that loved his family dearly . He is known for his big sense of humor; he never missed an opportunity to pull a prank on someone. He loved his antique cars and looked forward to Cruising the coast every year with his family. He was a compassionate and gentle man that will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at Holderwells Funeral Home, 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563, from 11 am until the 12 noon Funeral Hour.
