Cleaning Dates and Temporary Holiday Decorations Schedule (2026 – 2027)


Cleaning dates may change based on weather restrictions. All holiday-themed flower arrangements that were placed more than 10 days after the holiday, along with any additional temporary vases or temporary flowerpots, will be removed and discarded. This action also extends to items that are not in compliance with our established rules and regulations. Please review all the rules and safety regulations. 

  • New Year’s Day - January 1, 2026
    Decorations allowed from December 22 – January 11
    Clean up continuous from January 12 - February 3


  • Valentine’s Day -  February 14, 2026
    Decorations allowed from February 4 - February 24
    Clean up continuous from February 25 - March 25


  • Easter Holiday - April 5, 2026
    Decorations allowed from March 26 - April 15
    Clean up continuous from April 16 – April 29


  • Mother's Day - May 10, 2026
    Decorations allowed from April 30 – May 20.
    Please remove decorations prior to Father’s Day observance


  • Memorial Day - May 25, 2026
    Decorations allowed from May 15 - June 3.
    Please remove decorations prior to Father’s Day observance


  • Father's Day - June 21, 2026
    Decorations allowed from June 11 – July 1
    Please remove decorations prior to Independence Day observance


  • Independence Day -  July 4, 2026
    Decorations allowed from June 24 – July 14
    Clean up continuous from July 15 - October 20


  • Halloween - October 31, 2026
    Decorations allowed from October 21 – November 10
    Please remove decorations prior to Veteran's Day observance


  • All Soul’s Day - November 2, 2026
    Decorations allowed from October 23 - November 12
    Please remove decorations prior to Veteran's Day observance


  • Veteran's Day - November 11, 2026
    Decorations allowed from November 1 - November 21
    Clean up continuous from November 22 - December 14


  • Christmas Day - December 25, 2026
    Decorations allowed from December 15 - January 5
    Clean up continuous from January 5 - February 8

SMG is not liable for theft or damage to any personal property, or personal effects placed on or near interment spaces or elsewhere in the cemetery.
