Mrs. Dorothy Nell Davis Krebs

Dorothy Nell Davis Krebs died in Pascagoula, MS on March 17, 2016 from advanced Alzheimer’s at the age of 88 years. Dorothy was born in Seminary, MS on September 12, 1927 to Robert Darlin Davis and Sarah Herrin Davis. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Ory Krebs, Sr., her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Krebs Doggett and Don, her parents and her brothers, James, Bobby, and Billy Joe Davis. She is survived by her children, Robert Preston Krebs (Cindy), William Michael Krebs (Juanita), Karen Krebs Brewer (Johnny), Edmond Ory Krebs Jr., Mark Anthony Krebs (Cheryl), Janet Krebs, Janice Krebs Duff (Eric). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Krebs, Nicholas and Ashley Krebs, Sarah, John, Robert and Kate Krebs and Joshua Duff as well as great grandchildren, Cody and Spencer Krebs. Her sister Mildred Coulter and brother, Arthur Davis survive as well. Surviving her also and considered one of the family for her tender, loving care of our mother these last years is Jamie Garner Willis and her husband, David. Mother considered Jamie her daughter. Special thanks to Dr. Stevens and staff and the team from Hospice of Light. Dorothy was of the Catholic faith. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker with an exceptional talent in sewing, baking and just hard work. As she passed slowly away and could still communicate, she reminded us all “What will be, will be.” Visitation will be at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS on Monday March 21, from 10:00 am to 12:00pm with a funeral service in the chapel at 12:00pm.Father Mike Kelleher will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Jackson County Memorial Park on Ingalls Avenue in Pascagoula. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Anthony, Nicholas, John and Robert Krebs and Joshua Duff as well as her caretaker, David Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Cody and Spencer Krebs.
