LENNON On July 30, 2012, Mrs. Kitty Lennon quietly slipped away from this world and entered into her eternal home. Mama left the loving and devoted embrace of her daughters and entered the loving arms of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her beloved and adored son, P. Glenn Lennon; her parents, Frank and Louise Jenkins; one sister, Gladys Everett and a loving sister-in-law, Tinney Jenkins. Mrs. Lennon was an accomplished upholsterer, a business she shared with her husband of thirty-nine years, Glenn Lennon, whom she leaves to cherish her memories. When she was younger, Mrs. Lennon was an avid gardener and always had a beautiful yard with flowers at every turn. She was the best friend anyone could have as she loved people immensely and never met a stranger. She was a lady who had known hard times and was all the sweeter because of them. Ever the encourager, she would come up with just the right thing to say to lift up ones spirit. Above everything else in her life, her greatest love was her family. She was the best mother, friend and teacher her three daughters could have ever had, and she absolutely adored her ?babies?, grands and great-grands alike. She loved with more than the heart she had. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Kay (Bobby) Clarke, Melissa (Gene) Ivey, and Angie (Ronnie) Lewis, all of Moss Point; her grandchildren, Misty (Derek) McCoy, Kristeigh Smith, Sarah Smith, Bobby (Ashley) Clarke, Jeremy (Savannah) Clarke, Mandy Clarke, Reanna Clarke, Rachel Clarke, Trey Ivey, Alex Ivey, Dustin Clarke, Greg Lewis, Skyler Lewis and Beth (Eric) Morales; 18 great grandchildren; her very devoted and loved niece and nephew, Daniel Vaughan and Krystal Blow; and last but not least, her Little Best Buddy, Rags and a large number of pet turtles that she enjoyed. Services will be held at Ridglea Heights Baptist Church in Moss Point, MS on Friday, August 3, 2012. Family Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. and the family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Cirlot will officiate her Funeral Service which is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by procession to her graveside in Serene Memorial Gardens, Moss Point, MS.
