Vivian M Sanders

Mrs. Vivian M. Sanders, age 87 of Wade, Miss. left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 11, 2008 to walk in fields of flowers. She was born January 20, 1921 in Jackson County, Miss. Mrs. Sanders was a member of Eastside Assembly of God Church. She retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding, as a materials handler in the Hull Department. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents Howard L. and Annis C. Powe, two sons in law Dan (Boogie) Merrill, David McDaniel and three granddaughters Tonya Sue Goff, Brenda Williams, Deborah Sue McDaniels, one sister and five brothers. Survivors include daughters, Vella Marie McDaniel of Lucedale, Rose Ellen Merrill of Helena; sons and daughters in law Jerry Otis and Barbara Goff of Escatawpa, Henry Howard " Jay "Goff of Wade; brother Charles Lewis Powe of Leakesville; sister in law Rose Powe of Gautier; grandchildren Danny Williams, Pete (Kay) McDaniel, George McDaniel, Dennis (Loretta) McDaniel, Jerry Lynn (Beverly) McDaniel, Cindy (Ken) Burgan, Lee Merrill, Darlene (Anthony) Goff, Richard (Christy) Merrill, Jerry Lee (JoAnne) Goff, Sherri (Randal) Curry, Hank (Renee) Goff, Scott (Brooke) Goff; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Saturday, March 15th from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16th from Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at McDonald Cemetery in Moss Point, MS. Pallbearers will be David McDaniel, Dennis McDaniel, George McDaniel, Terry Lynn McDaniel, Hank Goff, Jerry Lee Goff, Scott Goff, Randal Curry, Calvin McDaniel, Anthony Goff, Ken Burgan, Richard Merrill, Lee Merrill and Danny Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be D.J. McDaniel, Jarrod Goff, Danny Merrill, Jason Burgan, Chris McDaniel, Ben Maxwell, Jerry Cooper, Dale Stein, Matt Davis and Robbie McDaniel. The family wishes to thank the special caregivers, Eva McDaniel, Lanie McDaniel and Southern Care of Lucedale for the loving care of Mrs. Sanders.
