William Richmond Clearman

William Richmond Clearman, 94 of Pascagoula, passed from this life on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Pascagoula. He was born July 9, 1923 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Mr. Clearman was a dedicated employee, having served 34 years as a carpenter with Ingalls Shipbuilding. As a hobby, he enjoyed making everything from furniture to rubber band guns but more importantly, Mr. Clearman accepted Christ as his Savior and was an active and faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Sara Jane Clearman; loving wife, Elba Auline Boyette Haney Clearman; step-son, Rev. Warren Haney; and all of his siblings. Survivors include his daughter, Cherryl "Cherry" Hinkel of Wade; step-daughter, Glenda Haney Sims of Medford, Oregon; step-son, Howard and Kitty Haney of Vicksburg; daughter-in-law, Jackie Wood Haney of Lakeland, Florida; granddaughters, Donna Haney Escamilla of Plant City, Florida, Cookie Sims Smith of Medford, Oregon, Dena and Billy Trusler, Jr. of Hurley; grandsons, Mike Haney of Memphis, Tennessee, Curt Haney of Mobile, Alabama, Lance Haney of Las Vegas, Nevada, Vic Haney of Unionville, Tennessee; Bob Sims of Stuttgart, Germany, Jim Sims of Salem, Oregon, Robert W. and Rachel Hinkel of Florence, and Brad and Sherrell Hinkel of Big Point. Great-Grandchildren, Eric and Justin Escamilla, Julianne Escamilla Cyr, David and Alex Haney, Sam and Mikaela Haney, Jack Sims, Victor Sims, Bailey Sims, Solon and Anavay Sims, Austin Smith, Billy Trusler, III, Krystal Trusler, Robert H. Hinkel, Jared J. Hinkel, Maelee O. Hinkel and Gage B. Hinkel; special family members, Dawn and Michael Best and family; and numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 12:00 until 2:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert W.
